The 2008 Great Scot! Ceilidh (pronounced “CEIL-idh”)* will be so powerful, so riveting, that it will make your hair stand on end. This is music like you’ve never heard, unless you were here last year. Even if you don’t have a Scottish gene in your body, you will by night’s end.

We have the top-tier Celtic bands rarin’ to go. Albannach, Hunting McLeod, and Emerald Rose; two of our pipe bands from the Great Scot! Parade will kick it off, and we mean kick. David Ross is the Emcee/Scottish story-teller who will weave it all into a Scottish night that Braveheart would have loved.

Behind the Peace Center at the Amphitheatre, admission $5.

*Okay, pronounced “KAY-lee”
