Competitions

The Games are proud to host  the Southern Branch Pipe Band Championships for Grades Three, Four and Five, and the Southeastern Highland Athletic Group Competitions with four categories this year, including Women’s Competition.  Our Highland Dancers  may showcase beautiful, graceful girls, but underneath they have a competitive spirit to match the heaviest of the athletes!

The young folks will be doing their darndest to run and toss stuff like the big guys, and it’s fun to watch their determined faces as they compete in the minature athletic events.

Our Second Annual Border Collie Invitational Trials features Champion dogs from the Southeast.  They’ll have eight minutes apiece to herd sheep through an obstacle course into pens, being controlled solely by whistles from their handlers.  Eight minutes.  Lots of sheep.  Come watch.

We’ll have more competitions with the Swamp MacRabbit Trail 5K Run/Walk, the Bonnie Lad and Lassie Pageant, and the Great Scot! British Car Show.  Plus the Longbow Competition!
